case study

Ham Yard Hotel

In the midst of Soho and moments from Mayfair, Ham Yard Hotel has an urban village feel. The hotel revolves around a tree-filled garden with a bronze sculpture centrepiece. Alongside the hotel’s 91 individually designed bedrooms and suites are 13 independent stores and a restaurant and bar with outdoor dining.

There is a drawing room and  library, Spa and Gym, theatre, private event rooms and a 1950’s style bowling alley. The rooftop terrace, another of the hotel’s private events spaces, has sweeping views of the Soho skyline.

This sequencing ensured minimum disruption to the occupant but yet a very quick turnaround.

The Task

Working with our client, Greenway Associates www.greenwayassociates.co.uk

Our objective was to provide heating, air conditioning, fresh air and filtration to the many rooms and public areas in the hotel.

Our solution

Barkell Air Handling Units and Coolmation (Rhoss) Air Cooled Chillers. Both designed to fit rigid dimensional and spacial constraints.

This sequencing ensured minimum disruption to the occupant but yet a very quick turnaround.
